We gathered to celebrate Ellery as a community over 450 strong on January 4, 2025 at Thompson‘s Point in Portland. Ellery’s vibrant spirit shown through that afternoon as the filtering light caught the dozens of purple and gold dragonfly kites hanging from the ceiling. Stories, photos, videos and experiences were shared, as her life was celebrated and her transition honored and amidst a sea of colors. And everyone got to experience some of her favorite foods and music, take goofy photos in her honor, and dance it up.
